Expansion of Russia’s Kant base in Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakabayev has announced Kyrgyzstan’s willingness to consider expanding russia’s Kant air base if Moscow wants to do so or the proposal comes from the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
He stressed Russia’s special role, particularly in the country during the post-election period and the outbreak of the political crisis there.
Kazakabayev stressed that his country’s position is consistent with the “Kant” rule, which is to maintain this rule, noting that even if the decision to expand is taken, there will be no revision of the agreements signed earlier.
