Washington calls for reforms in Human Rights Council

Spokesman for the US State Department, Ned Price, called for the implementation of reforms in the United Nations Human Rights Council, including addressing the “disproportionate focus on Israel” in the council.
And Ned Price considered that these reforms are among the changes that the United States wants to see.
US envoy to the United Nations, Mark Casser, had confirmed that the United States would participate as an observer in the meetings of the Human Rights Council of the international organization, while it would seek to work on reforming it.
