United Nations: Israeli strikes are war crimes

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, has indicated that the Israeli strikes on Gaza raise deep concerns about its commitment to international law, and if it turns out to be disproportionate, it may represent war crimes.
Bachelet, who opened a special session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, said she had seen no evidence that civilian buildings in Gaza destroyed by Israeli strikes were being used for military purposes.
Bachelet urged Israel to stop the evacuations in the West Bank “immediately”, and called on “Hamas” movement to stop “firing rockets indiscriminately into Israel.”
