Turkey lost 13 soldiers in northern Iraq

The Kurdish “Hawar” agency reported that 13 Turkish soldiers were killed in northern Iraq in an ambush carried out by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which Ankara classifies as a terrorist organization.
Hawar said that the Popular Defense Forces (Karela), the military wing of the PKK, carried out an operation in Dol Maran Square in the Avashin area in the legitimate defense zones, on the Iraqi-Turkish border.
According to the agency, the operation resulted in the deaths of 13 Turkish soldiers.
