Treating arthritis with herbs and food

Many people suffer from arthritis, especially in the knee, due to calcium deficiency in the body and lack of proper nutrition, so Dr. Siham Soukia, a nutritionist, presented some herbs and foods that treat joint pain.

Ginger: Ginger is known for its ability to treat inflammation, especially arthritis, and get rid of its pain.
Turmeric: Turmeric contains pain-relieving chemicals that can also reduce the progression and severity of arthritis.
Nettle: It contains properties that strengthen bones and relieve joint pain, as its leaves are used in the form of an ointment.
Licorice: The roots of licorice are characterized by its effective role in treating inflammation and arthritis.

Fish: Fish is rich in omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, which contribute to reducing arthritis
Cherries, strawberries, and cranberries: they contain anthocyanins, an anti-inflammatory
Dairy and dairy products: They are a good source of vitamin D and calcium, which are necessary for bone health and safety.
Beans: In addition to their components rich in fiber, magnesium and potassium, they contribute to the treatment of inflamed joints, as they reduce reactive protein, and they are also rich in proteins that strengthen muscles, which preserves the joints and facilitates their movement.
Olive oil: It contains good amounts of omega-3 and omega-9 oleic acid, which reduce inflammation and reduce joint pain.
