The American army is trying one of its soldiers because of Syria

US Army Sgt. Robert Nixon is facing several charges related to an armed clash that took place in Syria last summer, in which Nixon participated and opened fire at a checkpoint of the Syrian forces in Hasaka.
A US website said that Nixon, a sergeant from the 73rd Cavalry Regiment, faces several counts of failure to comply with a legal order, reckless endangerment, communicating threats, and obstructing justice.
According to the accusations against Nixon, he put the lives of American soldiers at risk, and threatened the Syrian forces before the start of the armed clash with them, which lasted for ten minutes and led to the killing of a Syrian soldier and wounding two others.
