New Russian decree for those who lived siege of Sevastopol

Russian media revealed that Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a decree allocating more than 80 million rubles from the reserve fund to pay 75,000 rubles to everyone who lived through the siege of Sevastopol during the Second World War.

According to the information, “83 million and 175 thousand rubles are allocated from the reserve fund to the Russian Finance Ministry, which is spent on the city of Sevastopol to pay 75 thousand rubles as a grant for everyone who lived the siege of Sevastopol.”

It is noteworthy that the siege of Sevastopol lasted 250 days and ended on May 9, 1944, when the Red Army was able to liberate it.
