Protein: 70 grams of protein should be consumed daily during pregnancy, and it is recommended that it be from lean meat, legumes, and others.
Carbohydrates: It is recommended to eat 175 grams of carbohydrates, daily, preferably from complex carbohydrates, such as whole grains and oats, rather than sugars.
Iron: It is recommended to eat between 27 and 30 mg daily. Iron-rich foods are red meat and internal viscera such as liver, chicken, and legumes, green leafy vegetables such as spinach and molokhia, and dried fruits such as raisins, molasses and mushrooms.
