Moscow criticizes Germany, Sweden and Poland decision to expel its diplomats: “not justified”

Russian Foreign Ministry considered that the decision of Germany, Sweden and Poland to expel Russian diplomats was unjustified and unfriendly, considering that it included interference in Russia’s internal affairs.

spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said in a press statement: “The decisions announced today by Poland, Germany and Sweden are unjustified and unfriendly, and they represent a continuation of the series of measures and operations carried out by the West towards our country, which we classify as interference in our internal affairs.”

Adding that Russia expelled diplomats from these 3 countries after “spotting them red-handed,” referring to their participation in the unauthorized demonstrations against the arrest of the Russian opposition, Alexei Navalny.
