Madrid announces registration of first case of Brazilian Corona virus

Three days after Spain restricted travel with Brazil and South Africa to curb the spread of new deadly strains, the health authorities in Madrid announced the first case of the Brazilian type of mutated Corona virus.

It also announced the registration of its second known case of a variant of the Corona virus in South Africa.

Spanish Ministry of Health did not clarify whether other cases of the Brazilian type were discovered elsewhere in Spain.
