Israeli Knesset Speaker calls for a postponement of Netanyahu’s trial

Knesset Speaker Yariv Levin called for the trial session of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, to be postponed, which Netanyahu was obligated to attend, and Levin vehemently attacked the Israeli judiciary.
Knesset Speaker Levin justified his call to postpone the Netanyahu trial session in the upcoming Knesset elections.
He considered that “the judiciary in a democratic country usually strives to avoid interfering in the election process. However, this basic rule has been trampled upon by our judiciary with a brutal foot some time ago.”
