On a daily basis, a giant crater is expanding in a rural area in the Mexican state of Puebla, which has frightened the population after it has grown tens of meters per day since the end of last week.
Mexican media said that the crater was initially formed with a diameter of up to 20 meters, and today its diameter reaches 60 meters.
Soon it was filled with water, and environmental protection representatives arrived at the site, and said that the field had been exposed to it due to a natural geological defect and fluctuations in the water level in the soil and subsoil.
Environmental representatives warned that the gap could widen, and residents of nearby homes were evacuated.
