Attempts to “coup” and “assassinate” president in Haiti

Ministry of Justice in Haiti said that a “coup attempt” against President Juvenil Moise had been thwarted, who in turn announced that he had survived an assassination attempt.

According to Justice Minister Rockefeller Vincent, this “coup attempt” involved the judge of the Court of Cassation and an official in the National Police, indicating that the country’s prime minister is in crisis.

Pointing out that 23 people were arrested, including the judge of the Court of Cassation and an inspector general of the National Police.
