Al-Ahly crowned the African Super Cup title

Egypt’s Al-Ahly club defeated Nahdet Berkane of Morocco 2-0 Friday in the match that was held between them in the Qatari capital, Doha, to win the African Super Cup again.
With this, Al-Ahly, the CAF Champions League champion, succeeded in keeping the title in Egypt after it was the best party in front of the Confederation Cup holder, as it succeeded its compatriot Zamalek, who won the title last season at the expense of Tunisia’s Esperance.
After a negative first half, Al-Ahly succeeded in taking precedence thanks to the great goal of Mohamed Sharif (57), before substitute Salah Mohsen’s goal came in the deadly time (82).

Al-Ahly raised its tally of the championship titles to seven, boosting its record against Zamalek (4).
