Agencies: Biden is considering easing financial pressure on Iran

American “Bloomberg” agency revealed that the administration of US President Joe Biden is studying ways to reduce financial pressure on Tehran without lifting major economic sanctions, including oil sanctions.

According to statements by 4 informed sources quoted by the agency, they confirmed that one of the options of the American government in this regard is to support a loan from the International Monetary Fund to Iran in order to help face the economic repercussions of the outbreak of the Corona virus in this country.

According to the sources, the other option that the Biden administration is considering is easing the sanctions that prevent the arrival of international aid related to Corona to Iran.

agency’s report adds that the adoption of such measures could be for humanitarian reasons. However, the exemption from sanctions imposed on the sale of Iranian oil on international markets “has not been seriously considered by the US government.”
