Daily aggressions by the security forces

Abuses by the security forces against the children of the media and the law. The security forces’ attacks on demonstrators and on the media have crossed the red line in recent times.

However, the recent infringements have affected several lawyers, matters that required the President of the Lawyers Syndicate to intervene personally.

Will the political discord have become an open space between the security forces and the lawyers, to translate these violations into the daily reality of the Lebanese citizen?

Whoever puts an end to verbal and physical attacks by the security forces, especially towards the media body that endures and bears every minute of insults and assaults by those who are supposed to be a refuge for the oppressed and not the other way around.

Will the abuse case open up other cases deliberately placed in closets of oblivion?

In a non-state, can truth ever triumph?
